Argusnet is our virtualized data center, which we deliver our environment. Our data center is functionally the same as a physical facility, with all the advantages of the cloud, without the challenges of on-premises compute operations.
Argusnet is designed to achieve delivery of our services using a “Point of Delivery” or “Pod” architecture.
By definition, a Pod is a module of network, storage, compute, and application components, working together to deliver networking services.
Argusnet utilizes four Pods in its architecture, they deliver our solutions and services to our customers. Each Pod has its own range of IP addresses assigned using unique subnets.
To further familiarity with its “physical” counterpart, our “virtual” data center Pods contain virtual aisles, elevations, and cabinets. In this way we account for inventory of services, network policies and attributes unique to each Pod.
